Cartagena Te Amo practices that can be checked in its catalogue and operation.
Cartagena Te Amo works through a network of local suppliers: captains, guides, restaurants and homes from Cartagena itself.
We publish duration, capacity and meeting point when the supplier confirms them, and flag what is still pending.
The catalogue includes mangrove routes, birdwatching at the National Aviary and sailing catamaran trips.
Cartagena Te Amo publishes no environmental certifications or formal partnerships. We are not inventing any: when they exist, they get added with their paperwork.
How to travel light on the Caribbean
Chemical filters harm coral. Choose mineral formulas and UV clothing.
Bring a refillable bottle. Waste collection on the islands is limited.
While snorkelling, look without touching and never chase the animals.
Spend in island and neighbourhood businesses: that's where the money stays.
Palenqueras and residents are not part of the scenery.
