Walking Tour of the Historic Center and Getsemaní

The walk starts at Plaza de Santo Domingo and moves through the streets of the Historic Center. A local guide fills in the history behind the balconies, the churches and the colonial and republican facades that give the walled city its shape.

Then the route crosses into Getsemaní, the neighborhood of murals and street art. The pace shifts there: painted walls, neighborhood stories and everyday life on the corners. Along the way you get water, a tropical fruit salad and a drink of your choice.

Two hours in total. You can take it at 10:00 in the morning, while the city is still cool, or at sunset, when the light drops over the walls. The meeting point is always Plaza de Santo Domingo.
