Colombian Specialty Coffee Tasting: Seed to Cup
Guided tasting across three brew methods: V60, Chemex and syphon.
The session follows Colombian specialty coffee from seed to cup. It opens with an introduction to Colombian coffee growing and the plantation itself, then moves through processing and the roasting variables that shape each profile in the cup.
Next comes the sensory warm-up with fresh fruit, dried fruit and chocolate, built to train your vocabulary for aromas and flavors. There is also an exercise comparing a commercial coffee against a specialty one, tasted side by side.
The tasting closes with three brew methods: V60 dripper, Chemex and syphon. Each one highlights different processing and makes the sensory gaps between cups easy to catch. It runs daily, in the 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 16:00 blocks.
